Causes of No Such File Errors?

The Question is:

 
doing directory command got error filename.ext;version no such file.  how do I
 remove the file name.

The Answer is :

 
    Sounds like a stale directory entry.
    Could be as a result from deleting a file which had two distinct
    directory entries.
    You can remove the remaining entry with: SET FILE/REMOVE
