TCP/IP V4 and Jumbo Frames?

The Question is:

 
We have a DECPAG Gigabit adapter running with UCX 4.2 Eco 1.  We are trying to
 activate the Jumbo Frames but we are running into some problems.  When we look
 at the MTU in the UCX display it always shows 1500, and yet the Jumbo Frame
 option is active on t
he adapter and the Switch.  We have checked and there are many Input errors on
 the switch.  Is there any way of changing the MTU size???

The Answer is :

 
  Please upgrade to a supported configuration -- and in particular that
  would involve a more current TCP/IP Services release -- and try this
  again.  No TCP/IP V4.* release is supported on an OpenVMS V7.* release.
