TYPE/PAGE=SAVE and Escape Sequences?

The Question is:

 
I am trying to use the TYPE/PAGE=SAVE command with files that have imbedded
 escape sequences for bold and underline graphics.  When I use the SAVE
 parameter with the TYPE/PAGE command, the graphics are lost, but if I use TYPE
 or TYPE/PAGE, the graphics ar
e displayed.  How can I get the graphics to display with the SAVE parameter?
 

The Answer is :
