The Question is:
Both of our print queues are acting up and I hope maybe you have insight to
why? When we send a print job our Alpha Queue shows the job but quickly goes
to a paused state. The job disappears but never emerges from the printer. The
queue stays in pause unt
il restarted. ANY assistance appreciated!

You will want to upgrade to a supported release of OpenVMS and (if
applicable) TCP/IP Services, and you will want to apply available
ECO kits for the target OpenVMS and IP release, and you will want
to contact the support center as details of the print queue and the
printer will be of central interest -- there is not enough detail
