Microsoft File Format Support? (Word)

The Question is:

 
Is there a method to view MS Word documents on an Alpha 600 running OpenVMS
 v7.3-2?
 
 
 

The Answer is :

 
  Within OpenVMS itself, there are no tools to display this or other
  Microsoft-proprietary file formats.
 
  There is a port of OpenOffice to OpenVMS underway, and the text within
  the Microsoft Word document can potentially be displayed using available
