OpenVMS Installation and TCP/IP Services?

The Question is:

 
I will be upgrading OpenVMS 7.1-2 to 7.3-1 in the next few days. We are
 currently running UCX 4.2 ECO 1. Will TCP/IP services be automatically
 installed as part of the upgrade procedure?

The Answer is :

 
  You will want to review the OpenVMS upgrade and installation documentation,
  as it will answer this and other questions.  (Yes, you can choose to have
  the installation install the version of TCP/IP Services included with the
  OpenVMS distribution.  TCP/IP Services V5.3 is included with OpenVMS Alpha
  V7.3-1, and TCP/IP Services V5.4 is included with V7.3-2.  Please ensure
  you also have the mandatory ECO kits for OpenVMS and for TCP/IP Services.)
