The Question is:
Whilst working the weekend and logging into the system console from the system
account we returned to our session noticeing we had been automatically logged
off. There were no other users on the system and there are no idle process
watching jobs running.
Do you have any ideas
The Answer is :
Check the system accounting and auditing logs, and check the settings
of the username login hours and primary and secondary days in the system
authorization database. If the system console referenced is not directly
connected to the OpenVMS host, check for timeout mechanisms in the
communications path -- some terminal servers implement idle timeouts.
Also check again for idle-process tools or utilities.
