The Question is:
I want access to MYSQL-Database with
"my_program" and MYSQLCLIENTSHR32-4_0_15.EXE.
"my_program" is written in DEC-BASIC.
How do I have to call the mysql-Functions
(e.g. mysql_init, mysql_real_connect)
and how do i have to link my programm
The Answer is :
Please contact the organization or the individual(s) that are providing
support -- if anyone, that is -- for this or other Freeware packages.
If there is no such party providing support, you will have to work to
resolve this problem yourself, based on documents such as the C manuals,
the available MySQL documentation, and the OpenVMS calling standard,
and tools such as the OpenVMS debugger, as well as the newsgroups.
The OpenVMS Wizard is not in a position to support Freeware packages,
nor to support third-party (commercial) software packages.
There are two ports of MySQL on the OpenVMS Freeware V6.0 distribution.
