The Question is:
We created new directories on our disk drives. Now the
BACKUP/MODIFIED/SINCE=BACKUP command does not work from these directories. All
files are backed up on these specific newly created directories. All files on
established directories (ones that were cre
ated 2 years ago) will only back up the files that have been modified. (the
correct way) did a DIR/FULL on all directories and files and nothing seems
different. Could there be a bug????
The Answer is :
The OpenVMS Wizard will assume you have performed a BACKUP/RECORD
pass, and you have a directory that is being modified. As such,
please start with a review of the OpenVMS FAQ section entitled:
Why isn't BACKUP/SINCE=BACKUP working?
as well as the other related sections of the FAQ.
