Clustering and Allocation Classes?

The Question is:

 
I have DSSI disks on a VAX in a cluster with an Alpha.  The DSSI controllers
 and the VAX are all allocation class 2 (the Alpha is allocation class 1).
The SYSGEN parameter MSCP_LOAD=2 on all nodes, but the VAX DSSI devices do not
 show up on the Alpha.  Yet, some RRD40 devices on the VAX *do* show up on the
 Alpha. How can I get the VAX's DSSI devices to appear to the Alpha system?
 
 

The Answer is :

 
  MSCP_LOAD controls the loading of the MSCP disk services.  MSCP_SERVE_ALL
  controls whether or not the disks are served to other cluster members.
  (The latter parameter is probably set to serve just local devices.)
