The Question is:
I'm operating VMS 6.2 and TCP/IP v.4.2. We have two remote locations, one
connected by frame relay, the other by vpn. The connection over vpn is
experiencing problems with a stalled printer queue. Other terminals at that
location are fine. This proble
m was very rare before switching over to the vpn. The printer checks out OK.
I'm curious if an upgrade is in order. Any suggestions are welcome.

The Answer is :
Your OpenVMS and TCP/IP versions are old and the OpenVMS Wizard would
certainly upgrade and ECO these to more current configurations. That
written, this could also appear to be a problem with the IP connectivity
over the VPN.
