The Question is:
Is it possible to trap the FTP error: FTP-E-NETERR, I/O error on network
device-SYSTEM-F-TIMEOUT, device timeout? If so, what do I need to be
evaluating to trap the error?
Evaluating f$message($status) immediately after the error is displayed shows a
successful command execution.
The Answer is :
The OpenVMS Wizard would use more current versions of OpenVMS and
TCP/IP Services (and ECOs, as applicable), and would use the DCL
command COPY/FTP. If COPY/FTP does not return the desired condition
values via the $severity and $status symbols, then you would be best
served by an inquiry directed to the customer support center.
