The Question is:
Hello wizards!
Context: OpenVMS V7.3-1, TCPIP V5.3 ECO 2
Question: Is there a way to suppress the non-delivery mail from the receiving
SMTP system to a sender when there is NOSUCHUSER on the receiving system?
The reason for this are the masses of spam mail sent to a unsuspecting system,
which tries to send back mails to the 'senders' for mails with no existing
user on this system. These non-delivery-mails in in turn will very likely only
clog the internet and
fill mailboxes of unsuspecting 'senders'.
Regards,
Thomas
The Answer is :
No such mechanism is currently available, unfortunately.
