Files copy to a batch queue using a spooled device is not removed after the job
is completed. How to solve this problem
The Answer is :
Please use the $sndjbc programming interface, rather than the
current (and oft-deprecated) spooled device technique. (Batch
queues were not intended to be used with spooled devices.)
There is at least one ECO for known problems within spooled
device processing. As the OpenVMS Wizard invariably requests,
please apply the mandatory ECO kits for the OpenVMS release in
use and try again -- without the mandatory ECO kits installed,
you get to discover and troubleshoot known -- and fixed -- bugs.
Please realize that a one- or two-line question is EXCEEDINGLY
difficult for the OpenVMS Wizard to provide an answer with any
degree of certainty. The OpenVMS Wizard has here guessed at
the problem being reported, and may or may not have answered
the intended question.
