The Question is:
The following error occurs while printing to queue printers setup thru multinet
V4.4 using our third party software AIM from LANDATA, Inc.
We were using OpenVMS 7.0 and an ALPHA 1000A, but Now on an ALPHA 4100 5/300
2cpu's OpenVMS for AlPHA V7.3-1. I have tried setting the MIN_IOCHANNELCNT
thru editing modparams.dat and then doing the autogen command:
$ @$sys$system:autogen getdata nofeedback reboot
This did not work still showing only 31 for the min_iochannelcnt.
The modparams.dat are set to:
VAXCLUSTER=0
SCSNODE="INTER"
SCSSYSTEMID=1025
MIN_CHANNELCNT=200
ADD_GBLSECTIONS=20
ADD_GBLPAGES=1550
THE ERROR MESSAGE IS:
%PMS-E-OPENIN, error opening !AS as input
-RMS-F-CHN, assign channel system service request failed
-SYSTEM-F-NOIOCHAN, no I/O channel available
Completed 4-AUG-2003 11:33:14.93 on queue DTPOL2
