Will VMS serve XDCMP based sessions?
The Answer is :
XDCMP (X Windows serial access) is not presently available within
DECwindows, and a serial console connection, a serial terminal
connection, or a network connection via DECnet or telnet is most
commonly used.
XDM and XDMCP are available as part of TCP/IP Services, if the
particular abbreviation specified was erroneous -- please note
that one- or two-line questions are exceedingly difficult for
the OpenVMS Wizard to answer, as there exists the potential
for ambiguities, and as there can also exist alternatives for
particular applications, configurations, or requirements.
