DECdns server in OpenVMS Alpha?

The Question is:

 
We are in the process of writing a plan to  transition from Decnet Phase IV to
 Decnet-Plus and would like to create a DECdns server. Is the software
 available for OpenVMS Alpha systems yet?
 

The Answer is :

 
  DECdns server capability is available on Alpha starting with
  OpenVMS version 7.3-1.  Please see the DECnet SPD for details.
 
  That said, the OpenVMS Wizard would also carefully consider the
  use and the applicability of the local database and the DNS/BIND
  (IP) nameserver configuration and capabilities.
