The Answer is :
The OpenVMS Wizard will assume that you have verified that both
FTP client and FTP server have been configured and started on
both hosts, and that consistent security settings are in use.
If not, please start there.
You will also want to verify the contents of the FTP logs,
enabling these as required -- see the TCP/IP Services manuals
for details on FTP logging.
You will also want to verify the system-wide login and any local
login that the server(s) might encounter.
Please move to a supported configuration -- your OpenVMS Alpha
release is a hardware release, and your TCP/IP Services version
is equivalently old. As of this writing, V7.3-1 and V5.3 (each
eith the appropriate ECO kits) are current.
