IP ACP AUXS fails with NOIOCHAN?

» close window

The Question is:

When using rlogin to connect remote users, after a few days I get an error in
 the operator.log file;
Message from user INTERnet on <mysysname>
INTERnet ACP AUXS failure Status= %SYSTEM-F-NOIOCHAN
I then need to reboot to re-enable rlogin for remote users. Also, after this
 error occurs, no network connectivity is working on the system, FTP, Telnet
 and Rlogin are all not working.

The Answer is :

  If you are not already running the curent version of TCP/IP Services
  with the current ECO, please upgrade to that configuration -- there
  is no IP version information included in the question -- and if you
  are already running the current version and ECO, please contact the
  customer support center directly for assistance.

  As of this writing, V5.3 with ECO is current, with V5.4 approaching
  release.
