Open-ended OpenVMS (DTR) Upgrade Questions?

The Question is:

 
I am using Datatrieve 7.2A and CDD 7.0.
I am upgrading OpenVMS to 7.3 from 7.2.
Should I export and import the CDO files, afresh?
 
 

The Answer is :

 
  That would be your choice -- the OpenVMS Wizard does not know
  the value of your data, nor the cost of recovering it should
  problems arise during the uograde.  The same decision holds
  for operations, as well -- your BACKUP schedule should be
  based on the value of your data and the cost of recovery
  from failures to the data, applications, disks, system, etc.
