NFS Server Stalls?

» close window

The Question is:

We are runnung OpenVMS version 7.2-1 and TCPIP version 5.3 on an Alpha 4000.
We are mapping the VMS disks onto Windows 2000 PCs. Sometimes, when a large
file or large number of files are transfered to the PC via NFS, the NFS
 process on the Alpha stops
responding. At that point, we can not access the NFS exports and any active
 connections do not function.

The Answer is :

Please install the available ECO kits for OpenVMS and for TCP/IP Services.

Please also perform similar upgrades to whatever NFS client is in use on
  the Windows platform, as well.

If the problem persists with current ECOs and versions, please contact the
  support center directly.
