The Question is:
Dear Wizards,
we are running TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS Alpha Version V5.3 - ECO 1 on a DS10
Cluster under OpenVMS V7.2-2 with several patches.
Wer are experiencing errors like "INTERnet ACP AUXS error during process exit
Status = %SYSTEM-W-NOSUCHDEV" from TCPIP$smtp_receiver.exe, more specifically
"SMTP_RECV_MAIL: socket(TCPIP$C_AUXS) failed" when a UNIX machine starts to
empty it's mail queue
into our mail gateway. I can't find any hint in your fine databases about this
problem, especially when the SMTP service limit (25) is not touched (7).
What's wrong ?
The Answer is :
Please contact the support center directly, as details of the ECO kits
installed on this system will be required. (There are known issues
between one of the SYS ECO kits and TCP/IP SMTP, for instance.)
