The Question is:

 
We are about to move our printers from UCX$TELNETSYM to UCX$LPD.  Where would I
 find  documentation explaining general rules; manuals etc?

The Answer is :

 
  Please upgrade to a current (and supported) TCP/IP Services release.
  As for information on Telnet and LPD/LPR printing -- functionally
  equivalent, and the choice usually going to the variation that will
  functionb with the particular printer(s) involved -- please see the
