Setting Printer Page Width?

The Question is:

 
I have an ASCII file with HP escape codes in PCL for a LaserJet to put to
 Landscape, compressed font.  My file has 155 characters in some lines, yet it
 truncates at 132.  I don't know if it is a queue problem or what.  I have
 tried the right margin escape
 code to no avail.

  Your unspecified printer connection is apparently set to wrap or to
  truncate at 132 columns.
 
  Please contact the support centerm, as specific details of how the
  HP LaserJet is connected to OpenVMS will be required.
