The Question is:

 
My console firmware is needing to be upgraded prior to upgrading to OpenVMS
 v7.3-1 (we're currently on v7.2-1), but I haven't found much information on
 how to accomplish this. If I remember correctly, I cannot do a backup of the
 console firmware.  Could I
 get some guidance on how to go about the upgrade?  Thanks!

  Please acquire and read the OpenVMS Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ),
  and particularly the section on acquiring and upgrading firmware on
  Alpha systems.
