The Question is:
How can I change the font, particularly the character size, on a laser printer,
through a VMS queue, unsing a PRINT command?....I am printing directly from
the alpha....

The Answer is :
The gargantuan number of printers that exist is seemingly only exceeded
by the number of differing printer interface schemes that exist.
For information on your particular printer, please check the printer
documentation or the printer vendor. Specifically check for command
sequence details, for setup menu information, and related minutia.
If this is a Postscript printer, please use the Postscript commands to
change the size or font. If using a converter to generate Postscript,
you will have to determine how the host application performs this.
For an introduction to device control libraries and printer-related
topics (and particularly network printers), please start with a review
