Disabling MOP Services?

» close window

The Question is:

disable MOP service

The Answer is :

See the NCP command SET CIRCUIT SERVICE, assuming DECnet Phase IV. For
this to work, you will have to have the CIRCUIT set STATE OFF and then
later STATE ON. Also see the DEFINE command, to permanently disable MOP.
For DECnet-Plus, see NCL and the SET MOP commands. For the LANCP-based
management of MOP services (on OpenVMS V6.2 and later), please see the
  LANCP command SET DEVICE devicename/MOP=DISABLE.
