LNMSHASHTBL, AUTOGEN MIN_, MAX_, and ADD_?

» close window

The Question is:

I am trying to increase the MAX. LNMSHASHTBL Size and MAX. LNMPHASHTBL Size,
however it says "No Such Parameters" when I used SYSMAN to change these values.

I tried to use AUTOGEN by adding MAX_LNMSHASHTBL and MAX_LNMPHASHTBL in the
MODPARAMS.DAT, but after rebooting, the parameters do not changed when I
 checked them using SYSMAN:
SYSMAN>PARAMETERS SHOW LNMSHASHTBL

The Max. LNMSHASHTBL right now is 8192 and I would like to increase it 131072.

Please advices. Thanks.

The Answer is :

The hash table size is determined by the LNMSHASHTBL parameter.

You will want to review the prefix notation within AUTOGEN, as
you apparently wish to set the minimum value for the parameter,
and not the maximum value. Thus MIN_LNMSHASHTBL would be used.
