The Question is:
I'm having trouble getting a queue to restart -- it continues to say "Device is
already allocated to another user." I have tracked down the device name and,
yes, it still appears to be allocated to the same problem queue. However, when
I try and delete th
e queue using a DELETE/QUEUE [QUEUE NAME] command, it tells me there's no such
queue. How can I deallocate that queue once and for all? I tried the
deallocate command, but again it told no device was attached.
The Answer is :
Please contact the support center, as specific details and specific
product versions, device names, and queue names will be required --
based solely on what was entered and making (large) assumptions on the
intended meaning of and the intended use of "[NLP DEVICE]" and of
"[QUEUE NAME]", the queue database appears to bave become corrupted.
(This corruption is a possibility and a guess, and not a certainty.)
