The Question is:
In a ALPHASERVER 2100, I can use decomni3.1 and decosap3.1 to connect
siemens s7 PLC . But in a ALPHASERVER DS20, I encountered a problem when I
used the same disk to connect s7 PLC. The problem is in the command file:
$ODF
ODF>SET APPLICATION PROFILE OSAP;
ODF>DEFINE VMD VMD1DEV1 APPLICATION SIMPLE NAME AD_VMD1DEV1;
when it run odf> DEFINE VMD VMD1DEV1 APPLICATION SIMPLE NAME AD_VMD1DEV1; ,
it stoped. But this command can run well in ALPHASERVER 2100.

Please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center, as additional
details on the AlphaServer 2100 DECnet configuration, on the
AlphaServer DS20 DECnet configuration, and on the network itself,
will be required.
