OpenVMS on unsupported Alpha hardware?

The Question is:

 
Do versions of VMS work on the Ultimate Workstation? As far as I can see, it's
 architecturally the same as an AlphaServer 1200, but I can't see it on the
 supported platforms list -- are there any real differences?
