Seeking AT (Hayes-compatible) Modem?

The Question is:

 
I need a list of hayes compatible modems that can be used with a vax running
 vms 5.5-2
 

The Answer is :

 
  As far as the OpenVMS Wizard knows, no such list of modems exists.
 
  The list of officially supported devices is included in the OpenVMS
  Software Product Description (SPD) for the desired release.
 
  Given that most any AT-compatible (external) modem that can reliably
  connect to a remote modem can also connect via a serial line, the
  list of potential choices is large.
