Is SOAP supported on OpenVMS V7.3 ?
(Question 5628 and corresponing answer referred to it in December 2000.)
I am looking at possibilities of method calls between OpenVMS and Windows 2000.
The Answer is :
SOAP and XML are available on OpenVMS, please see the OpenVMS website
for details. As of this writing, SOAP is available for download. XML
is integrated with and shipped within OpenVMS V7.3 and later releases.
The COM (DCOM) for OpenVMS package is also available, and may be useful
for communications between HP OpenVMS and Microsoft Windows systems.
