The Question is:

 
Which was the last version of VMS for VAX 4000 computers and in what year was
 it released ?
 

The Answer is :

 
  New OpenVMS VAX releases are under development, and the VAX 4000 series
  is supported.
 
  In other words, there is no "last release" for this series, there is
  only the "current release".
 
  For historical information, details on the minimum required versions
  for platforms, minimum product versions for OpenVMS releases, and for
  the platform support information included in the OpenVMS Software
