The Question is:

Hi

Can you create a backup saveset on the floppy drive , dva0? If you can how do
 you do it. Thanks...

Paul

The Answer is :

The DVA0: floppy disk drive is a random-access disk device, and can
be operated and accessed as can any other OpenVMS disk device.

BACKUP provides two common techniques for writing savesets to disks,
including the sequential disk set and writing savesets to the native
file structure. The latter is the traditional approach used when
writing savesets to disks. The former is rather more common when
  multi-volume savesets are required.
