The Question is:
UCX vs FTP:
Does exist any method for tranfert files between a VAXstation (VMS 5.3-1, UCX
V3.3) and an Alpha Server (OpenVMS 7.2-1, TCP/IP V5.5) ?
executing FTP in the VAX, I can import files from the Alpha, but in the other
sens I can't!

The Answer is :
Your OpenVMS VAX version can/should be upgraded, as should your
TCP/IP Services version.
FTP would be the approach used, and is expected to work here.
Unfortunately, without details of the commands tried and the errors
received and the local system and network configuration -- is the FTP
server enabled on the VAX system, for instance -- the OpenVMS Wizard
cannot provide a more specific answer or more specific suggestions.
The OpenVMS Wizard would encourage application of available ECO kits
for the version of TCP/IP Services in use, and would again stress the
need to upgrade this VAXstation system to more recent software versions.
