Network Controllers and DECnet Phase IV?

The Question is:

 
We have upgraded the network card from Ethernet to FDDI (DEMFA-AA).  Any
 changes to system or DECnet (phase IV) parameters necessary?
 

The Answer is :

 
  Please start with a NETCONFIG and an AUTOGEN pass.
 
  Specific recommendations depend on the local network topology --
  -- settings such as the recommended packet size -- and on the
  local system and application activity.
 
  The DECnet Phase IV documentation formerly part of the OpenVMS
  documentation set is available on the OpenVMS Freeware and has
  been added to the OpenVMS documentation website.  (The DECnet
  Phase IV architecture documentation is referenced in the OpenVMS
