BASIC uses unused error? (UNUERR255)

The Question is:

 
While running a VAX BASIC program on an ALPHA I Received the following error:
 %BAS-F-UNUERR255, Unused.  What does this error mean?  Where is it documented
 in the VAX Basic manuals?
