Console Environment Variable? (CTRL/P)

» close window

The Question is:

Is it possible to determine the state of the CRTL/P console parameter via VMS?

The Answer is :

Yes, simply enter CTRL/P at the console. (Well, that may not have
the desired result on a timesharing system, but it will certainly
  quickly tell you the state.)

That said, unfortunately, the CTRL/P setting and various other Alpha
console environment variables are not among those that are accessable
via the f$getenv and sys$setenv calls.
