can domain name service be configured on open vms? if yes then how?
 
is there any difference in domain name service and distributed name service?
 

The Answer is :

 
  Domain Name Service (DNS) support is available as part of the
  OpenVMS package TCP/IP Services, as well as via third-party IP
  stacks.  "Distributed Name Service" is a component of DECnet-Plus
