Deconfigure NIC in TCP/IP?

The Question is:

 
TCP/IP 5.0-01 Configuration
 
Once you have configured a network card with the relevant parameters - how can
 you then remove this configuration so the configuration status returns to *Not
 Configured*?
 
AlphaServer 4100
 
 


The Answer is :

 
  You could shut down, remove the device, and then completely reconfigure TCP/IP Services, or
  you could simply SET NOINTERFACE and SET CONFIG NOINTERFACE the NIC device in the TCP/IP
  Services command utility.
