Multiple NICs and IP Addresses, No Routing?

» close window

The Question is:

How can I configure TCP/IP Services 5.0 to use two existing network controllers
to connect the OpenVMS host to two different networks?

Now the second interface and dynamic routing are not configured, and the host
should not route traffic between the two networks. Both networks are connected
 to Internet.

I tought that both interfaces should at least have their own IP address, mask,
default gateway and also host and internet domain names. I looked at
TCPIP$CONFIG, but couldn't find out, whether this is possible or not?

The Answer is :

OpenVMS TCP/IP Services generally assumes that routing is operating,
particularly when multiple controllers (NICs) are present.
