Code Management System (CMS)?

The Question is:

 
We just ordered an alpha system. One of the software items which we were
 offered to buy is code management system (QL007AA3B). I can not find any
 informations about this product on your site. Could you please explain what it
 is and why do I need it ?

  This would be CMS, also available as part of DECset.

  As for why you need it, that depends on what you plan to do with
  this system.  CMS is useful for managing source code as well as
