The Question is:
I am running an ONC RPC application that apparently works successfully with
MULTINET that we are now running under DEC TCP. The code generated by
MULTINET RPCGEN and DEC TCP RPCGEN is identical according to
DIFF/IGN=(SPAC,TRAIL) but when the application
is run with DEC TCP we are getting decode failures on large data
packets(running in parallel on MULTINET and DEC TCP systems the MULTINET job
has no failures).
Question 1: are there any known problems in DEC TCP that might account for this.
Question 2: in the DEC TCP ONC RPC documentation for SVCTCP_CREATE it says "The
size of the receive buffer. If you specify 0, the routine chooses a suitable
default. ". Just what is that "suitable default".
The Answer is :
Please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center, rather more detail
on the configuration, the application, and the failure will be required.
