The Question is:
After installing (on a XP1000)
1. OpenVMS 7.2-1 from scratch
2. DECSET (Components CMS,MMS,LSE only)
3. DEC ADA 3.4
the ADA$IVP.COM loops (100% CPU) at the command
$ acs create library ....
What could cause this?

The Answer is :
Please move to Compaq Ada V3.5A, as this appears to be a result
of a known problem with the Ada V3.4 compiler.
Information on supported product versions and OpenVMS releases
is included in the software rollout (swroll; see the FAQ) reports
available at the Compaq OpenVMS website.
