The Answer is :
You need do nothing more than shut down, correctly install a supported
NIC into the particular OpenVMS Alpha V7.2-1 system, and reboot.
Please contact your hardware support organization or Compaq services
for assistance.
As for the host network product configurations, the configuration tools
for both DECnet and IP can and will detect and use multiple NICs. (For
details on the DECnet and/or TCP/IP configuration tools, please see the
product documentation -- DECnet-Plus and TCP/IP Services documentation
are available at the OpenVMS website.)
