How do I analyse an error log on an ES40?
 
 

The Answer is :

 
  Depending on what you are looking for and what OpenVMS version and on
  what platform is involved, Compaq Analyze, DECevent, or ANALYZE/ERROR.
 
  In the case of the AlphaServer ES40 -- a platform which has a minimum
  version requirement of OpenVMS Alpha V7.1-2 -- the tool used would
  typically be Compaq Analyze.
