The Question is:
I want to setup the Load Broker under TCPIP V5.0A for load balancing
in a cluster. TCPIP$LBROKER_CONF.TEMPLATE uses an example with
at least 7 nodes in a cluster.
Since our cluster has only two productive members (and a third one used to
keep the quorum) I see little sense in defining a "failover" as (quoting the
doc) "host to use if all other members are down", but deleting that line
leads to an error "res_update() failed: record not found" in the logfile.
Can I ignore this error or do I have to set up some dummy address as failover?
TIA
Bernd
The Answer is :
The failover address is clearly expected...
