Enterprise Toolkit Installation Error?

The Question is:

 
While trying to install Compaq Enterprise Toolkit on a PC NT4.0 sp6, I get an
 error : "You are currently running Microsoft Visual C++. Please exit it and
 run setup again". But Visual C++ is not running. I even checked with Task
 Manager. Setup doesn't cont
inue. What to do?
 

The Answer is :

 
  Assuming you have met all other prerequisites for the installation, try
  rebooting the PC.  Then contact Compaq Customer Support for assistance.
