OpenVMS on Personal Workstation (PWS) -a?

The Question is:

 
I have a Digital Personal Workstation 433a
that was used in a previous application as
an Alpha NT box. I would like to load a
Hobbiest version of OpenVMS on it. I know
that the supported version of this box for
OpenVMS is 433au. Will the DPW 433a boot
OpenVMS or am I barking up the wrong
tree? Will a reloading AlphaBIOS firmware
make this a usable OpenVMS box?
